In the summer of 1942, I purchased a car like this one, I sold it in the fall of 1943 as I thought I was going into the service after I graduated from high school.

Always wanting a car like the first one I owned, I got a lead on one that they had started restoring. I flew out to San Francisco to check it out and later purchased it and had it hauled back to Minnesota. Most of the restoring was done here but there are a few items I'm missing like windshield wipers, etc."
