1920 Waterloo Boy Tractor

Clayton had wanted to purchase a tractor like this for many years. He has been a farmer all his life. His hobby since retiring is collecting and refurbishing old tractos and equipment. About 3 years ago Clayton began his search for a Waterloo Boy. He went to autions in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Kansas and Nebraska. Each time he came home with an empty trailer. He scoured the countryside in South Dakota and other states following empty leads.
Finally in September of 2006 Clayton went to an auction in Pender, Nebraska. There he found the tractor he had been looking for. The tractor was owned by Harold and Marilyn Rink. They had purchased the tractor in 1950 from a John Deere dealer in Ruthton, Minnesota. Several years ago the Rinks had the tractor professional restored. At the auction, Clayton and a gentleman from Belgium were bidding hot and heavy for the tractor. Clayton had the winning bid.
